Maverick Enterprises, Inc. is an Ukiah, California-based custom secondary closure packaging company offering packaging solutions for the premium wine, spirits, and specialty food markets worldwide.

Maverick is the only U.S.-based, integrated manufacturer of customized capsules primarily serving the North American wine industry. These capsules, or “secondary closures,” are utilized by wineries, spirits, and specialty food and beverages to enhance the marketing and branding of their products as well as to provide tamper evidence.

Maverick Enterprises, Inc. has won the 2005 Chief Executive Network (CEN) Innovation Award for Best Disruptive Product in the small company division for its development of the  B.o.B™(“Best of Both”) closure system. This innovation has the potential to do nothing less than change the competitive landscape of alternative closures in the U.S. wine industry.

The new technology combines traditional packaging methods/ and break-through twist cap technology.

B.o.B, promises to be the BEST OF BOTH preserving the traditional packaging look found on fine wines, while providing consumers the convenience of a screw off and screw on closure. Consumers can experience the new closure on the recently launched wine label Virgin Vines a new brand from Richard Branson and the Virgin Group.
