Our Leadership Conference in Hilton Head was a huge success! Over 135 executives participated in this year's conference.

This number includes several guests who were extremely impressed with the conference, so much so that they applied for membership in our Network.

One of the highlights of the conference was our keynote speaker, Larry Bossidy, retired Chairman of both Honeywell and AlliedSignal. To say the least, I was honored to have Mr. Bossidy speak to our group. Here is a CEO who took over the reins of an under-performing AlliedSignal in 1991. He then produced 31 consecutive quarters of earnings-per-share growth of 13% or more, as well as an eight-fold appreciation of the company's share price. After his excellent talk, Mr. Bossidy took questions from the floor. As he was leaving, he commented not once, but twice, on how good the questions were - a compliment to our membership.

We are already well into planning our 2003 Leadership Conference. One regular conference attendee observed “…You have successfully improved each year. This may be hard to top, but I believe you can do it!” I am confident that we can and we will.
